This spatula is made for one job: cooking in a round cast iron skillet. Most spatulas have a straight edge, and a straight edge leaves food stuck against the curved wall of the pan. This one is curved and angled to follow that wall, with an offset that keeps your knuckles out of the pan.
The blade is laser-cut from .050" full-hard 301 stainless. It's thin enough to get under a fried egg or a fish fillet, and it flexes and springs back rather than bending. The handle is G10, a fiberglass laminate that won't crack, swell, or loosen. It goes in the dishwasher.
